DO YOU ALSO FACEBOOK?

I recently read an article about Facebook on the Afrikaans newspaper, Beeld. It discussed the extent and impact of the social Website Facebook - currently the biggest social website in the world. The original article can be found here.

Did you know ...

• Facebook has more than 150 million active users (This is three times more than the population of South Africa).
• If Facebook was a country, it would have been the seventh most populated country in the world.
• The average Facebook user has 120 Facebook friends (I currently have 259 Facebook friends).
• More than 15 million Facebook users change their status on a daily basis (I don't).
• More than 850 million photo's and 5 million video's get posted every month.
• More than 70% of Facebook users live outside the USA.
• Facebook gets used in more than 35 languages and 170 countries. (I actually changed my Facebook language to Afrikaans, just because it's available)

And I must confess ... I log on to Facebook daily, just to play with my children's Pet Society Pets!
